Japanese papers, 192u-195u.

The collection consists of miscellaneous Japanese papers which seem to be dictionaries and manuals given to a Naval officer going to Japan after World War II. These materials were intended to help him learn something about the language. Also included are the ledgers of a North Georgia mountain doctor (ca. 1920s), as well as miscellaneous photographs relating to UGA or the DAR, and printed materials relating to UGA or other universities, as well as reproductions of watercolors depicting battle scenes recreated in Paramount's motion picture "Wake Island."
